My Mission

Have you ever had that feeling that there was something else that you had to do and achieve and you didn’t quite know quite what it was. And you did pursue various courses or causes, but whatever you did this nagging feeling never went away.

Why am I sharing this with you. The reason is that I have finally found something that makes so much sense to me – build Primary Schools in under-developed countries.

Why is this so important. I think that building these schools will be like ‘turning on a switch’ to change the way in which those countries operate. There are many aid programs that cater for the provision of basic needs e.g. clean water, food etc, but if we want to improve the lives of these people we will need to give them choices of how they want to live their lives. At this point there are no choices, because they do not know what they do not know. Education will give them choices and the knowledge to improve their lives in a way that they choose.

Most under-developed countries have an education system set up with teachers allocated, but are sadly lacking the buildings to house the students and provide a place of learning. We can put an end to this sad situation that had existed for many years and will stay that way unless we do something to change it.

It is everyones right to have an education so that they can look at ways and means of taking responsibility for themselves and improving their situation. This must start at primary School level, because as we know, most of our values, morals, attitudes etc are set in place at this early stage of our lives.

Any suggestions about this cause are most welcome, as I have plenty of work to do along with many other people to make this dream a reality.
